Today is the last day of the Jagged Show: When the Curtain Falls. While I’m relieved I wont have to wear the lacy white corsette tops anymore, I have to say the end is bittersweet. We’ve been working on this show for over a year and I’ve seen the girls of the show grow and progress so much thru time. The show has evolved and so have our characters and our dancing. Jessica Anderson Gynn’s vision has definitely come to life and I’m happy I got to be a part of it. The theme and feeling of the show has left a stamp in all our hearts and I’ll always remember this experience. Jagged will have many shows to come, but I have a feeling this one will be the most memorable. This show has challenged me personally because my character in the show is death and involves facing your fears. It was impossible for me to fully get in character without really trying to feel the emotions death went through. Portraying anger, fear, and sadness on the stage were new to me, but helped me become a much more well rounded dancer. I thank all the girls in the show for opening their hearts and time to making this vision happen. And now it’s time to go dance our hearts out for one last night
